DAY ONE:
Check-in at Petals Resorts, Wayanad, at 1300 hrs. – Kick back your shoes, relax and lunch at your convenience. Post lunch take a trip down to Pookot lake, which is a natural fresh water lake in the midst of an evergreen rain forest. Avail of the boating facilities here. Visit Valley View later on to enjoy the sunsets. Return to a sumptuous dinner before retiring for the night. |
DAY TWO:
Leave for the Edakkal caves post breakfast. The pre-historic caves offer a chance to go on trek or just explore their natural beauty. Post lunch, drive down to the Soochipara waterfalls and explore the surroundings before returning home in the evening. |
DAY THREE:
Leave for Kuruwa Island, a 955 acres island which is known for its rich flora and fauna post breakfast. Explore the island before heading for the BanasuraSagar Dam, the second largest earth dam in Asia, after lunch.For those who find their highs in adventure, a round of speed boating is up for grabs before returning late in the evening. |
DAY FOUR:
Visit the tribal village post breakfast before ending the complete experience by 1100 hrs. |
